The Beach Plum Spa in Plymouth at the John Carver Inn - pamper yourself at our Plymouth, MA Spa today. You are about to enter a special place where your every need will be met, your body invigorated, your mind rested, and your spirit restored. In this sanctuary you will find tranquility, peace and a sense of renewal.

Our new, full service Spa features eight luxurious treatment rooms, innovative services and all natural and organic products. We are working with an apothecary in Vermont, and have incorporated Beach Plum products into our product line. In addition, we offer high end skin products such as Phytomer and G.M. Collin, plus carefully selected all-organic oils and sea muds. Guests are entitled to use the lap pool and exercise equipment during their visit to the Spa.

Taking its name from the fruiting shrub -- native to the coastal dunes of the Northeastern United States -- the Beach Plum has existed since colonial times when people would use the wild fruit to make preserves and jelly. The Beach Plum Spa will incorporate the medicinal and antioxidant properties of this rose family fruit, known to induce a sense of well-being, into their exclusive product line and unique treatments.

Each member of our professional staff is licensed and continually trained in the most advanced spa techniques and is committed to pampering our guests.

The Spa is open to the public. You need not be a guest of our Inn to enjoy The Spa. To ensure availability, please make reservations in advance for spa services. Open seven days a week, year round. Please call for hours as they may vary by season.

Spa Recommendations and Etiquette

Robes, slippers and personal amenities are provided along with complimentary fresh fruit, tea, coffee and Beach Plum jelly. In consideration of other guests we ask that all cellular phones and pagers are turned off while in the Spa. To ensure professionalism, only the client receiving service is permitted in the treatment room. This is your time to relax and the therapist needs to focus on you. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Reservation must be secured with either hotel confirmation number or major credit card. Please call 508-746-7100 or 800-274-1620 outside of the hotel or extension 121 from your hotel room.

Check–in

We suggest that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your first appointment in consideration of all Spa guests and therapists. This will allow time to relax and de-stress. Late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled treatments and full value will be charged.

Facilities

Use of whirlpool tub and saunas in our pool area are available to all Spa guests with treatments of $100 or more. For the pleasure of our guests, steam shower is available in locker room. If you would like to use facilities, please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. (Restrictions apply.)

Gratuity Charge

For your convenience, an 18% gratuity charge will be automatically added to your service. Additional gratuity is at your discretion.

Cancellation Policy

As we reserve a room and therapist just for you, we ask that you adhere to our cancellation policy by providing 24 hours notice or the full value of your treatment will be charged. Time changes must be received at least 4 hours prior to appointment and must be rescheduled within the next 12 hours or full value of services will be charged to your credit card. If you have reserved 4 or more services, a 72 hour cancellation notice is required or full value will be charged.
