John Carver Inn: Haunted Stays & Corn Maize | Relive Plymouth’s Haunted History

Haunted Stays & Corn Maize
Haunted Stays

Looking for a frightfully fun autumn adventure? Come relive the haunted history of Plymouth, “America’s Hometown”, just in time for Halloween. Plymouth was the landing place of the Pilgrims in 1620 and is remembered as the site of the first Thanksgiving. But, Plymouth is also a town full of legend and folklore. The John Carver Inn & Spa is located in the heart of Plymouth and is within walking distance to many of Plymouth’s historic sites and haunted happenings.

The Haunted Stays & Corn Maize Package at the John Carver Inn offers a truly “spooktacular” way to welcome the fall season and all the spirits that come with it.

The Haunted Stays & Corn Maize Package

The package includes 2 tickets to Sauchuk Farm’s magnificent 6-acre corn maze in beautiful Plympton, just a short drive away from the Inn. With 150 acres of lush produce, the Sauchuk Farm sells freshly picked goods straight to their customers via their farmstand. During the fall, their cornfields become two different mazes for your entertainment, one for those willing to get lost among the corn for about an hour, and another for the kiddos that takes just a few minutes to get through. During your visit, take a grain train to the pick-your-own pumpkin patch, go on a hayride and enjoy a variety of festive food and live music. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions and games around the farm as well — check out their cow train, pumpkin tetherball, duck race or corn cannon for a unique thrill.

The package also includes 2 tickets to the Dead of Night Ghost Tour. You’ll enjoy a 90-minute walking tour of Plymouth’s most historically haunted places led by a professional guide. Hear chilling tales of Plymouth’s most famous ghosts and spooky sites (including the Inn itself!), while learning more about the historic town’s rich past. This tour is both entertaining and just the right amount of spine-chilling. Be sure to bring your flash camera, your guide will teach you how to capture a spirit on film!
